The University of Hohenheim is part of AGRINATURA. The research center for Global Food Security and Ecosystems is the main contact point between UHOH and the network.

 

Dear colleagues,

AGRINATURA is the European Alliance on Agricultural Knowledge for Development, an entity established jointly by European Research and Education organisations. It is based on two pillars – Agrinatura Association regrouping all members and Agrinatura-EEIG, which is its operational arm. Activities are managed by the Joint Management Unit, with one office in Cork, Ireland (Information & Communication, Association secretariat) and one office in Greenwich, UK (Business Management, Administration, EEIG secretariat).

The Nutrition Research Facility (NRF) 

(NRF) has launched a call for expression of interest for two non-key experts:
  • Senior non-key expert in Agroecology and Nutrition.
  • Junior non-key expert in Agroecological food systems
The experts will support the implementation of the NRF research study (RS23.003) - What interventions to support agroecological food systems could be implemented to combat multiple forms of malnutrition

The research study aims to explore what types of interventions that support agroecological food systems could improve food behaviours and diets of economically and nutritionally vulnerable women in urban areas, with a focus on Senegal. The positions are home-based, but travel/field missions to Senegal different may be required.

Information about the scope of work and eligibility criteria for each profile can be found in the attached Terms of References. The experts are expected to start their assignment in May 2024.
